Wallpaper Calculator

This wallpaper calculator estimates how many rolls you need for a room. We find the wall area by adding the length and width, multiplying by two for the perimeter, then by the wall height.

A standard roll covers roughly 30 usable square feet once you account for pattern matching and trimming. We divide your wall area by that coverage and round up. The cost estimate assumes about $40 per roll.

Large-repeat patterns waste more, so add an extra roll for busy designs. Don't subtract small windows and doors — the surplus covers cutting waste.
