Brick Calculator

This brick calculator estimates how many bricks you need for a wall or facade. We multiply the wall length by its height for the area, then apply about 7 bricks per square foot — the standard for modular bricks with mortar joints.

We add a 5% waste allowance for breakage and cuts, then round up. The cost estimate assumes about $0.60 per brick; mortar is extra (roughly one bag per 100–125 bricks).

Brick sizes vary, so adjust the count if you're using non-modular or oversized bricks. For openings like doors and windows, you can subtract their area for a tighter estimate.
